Koji Nanamura's presentation. (My reflection and subject for discussion)

Hi all! How are you my visitors? Today I would like to share my reflection for japanese teacher's presentation. Well, let's start:

Last week we had a presentation that was organized by japanese volunteer Koji Nanamura which was about Japan. All the participants were English teachers and the presentation itself was in English.

During his presentation Koji tried his best. He just used "ask and answer" method but  all the participants were very excited because of interesting Power Point presentation. Koji's presentation lasted 40 minutes and during this time we didn't feel bored. The next day Koji had the same presentation but this time he had it with 9 th forms. Even with pupils he achieved perfect results.

Then, I asked myself? What if the English teacher just would prepare a very good PP presention and ask the students some questions before showing his/her slides. Maybe this method also can give very good result?
And you don't need to give out papers, or use markers... just ask your students and then show your slides.

Maybe, you should be a good speaker so that to deserve attention? Dear friends, let's discuss. Share your ideas here.

You can download or see the presentation in page: http://uzteacher.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_844.html

With respect,
Nasim Sadikov

  1. It's very interesting, when the two national teachers share their experience. During the work, you can get a lot of useful information. Useful for the students that in the course of communication in English will be their practice teaching.

    1. Yes SHahzod,
You are right. Especially it's very exciting to participate in other teacher's presentation and if you don't know anything about his country's educational system.
