Many of us have lots of resources that we

them in right way.

A new PP presentation - "Can chocolate save the world?"

Hello friends,

After one week separation I am back again and ready to bring you a Power Point presentation "Can chocolate save the world?" that I have created just three days ago.

The presentation is easy to use and very ordinary. But it is very dangerous :). As it can raise your students' appetite. The pictures in slides are very impressive and the colors of pictures can make you and your students curious. I think that my presentation fits best for discussion lesson, brainstorming and project work. We can divide our students to two or more groups and let them discuss the question.

Here is a link to download this PP doc (slideshare.net/UzigaBek/can-chocolate-save-the-world)

I have a post about WebQuest in my blog. We can easily use this Power Point as a very successful project. Nowadays, I am working on it.

Dear colleagues, leave your ideas, thougths about "Can chocolate save the world?" presentation.

By the way, I took some information and topic from spotlightradio.net

Koji Nanamura's presentation. (My reflection and subject for discussion)

Hi all! How are you my visitors? Today I would like to share my reflection for japanese teacher's presentation. Well, let's start:

Last week we had a presentation that was organized by japanese volunteer Koji Nanamura which was about Japan. All the participants were English teachers and the presentation itself was in English.

During his presentation Koji tried his best. He just used "ask and answer" method but  all the participants were very excited because of interesting Power Point presentation. Koji's presentation lasted 40 minutes and during this time we didn't feel bored. The next day Koji had the same presentation but this time he had it with 9 th forms. Even with pupils he achieved perfect results.

Then, I asked myself? What if the English teacher just would prepare a very good PP presention and ask the students some questions before showing his/her slides. Maybe this method also can give very good result?
And you don't need to give out papers, or use markers... just ask your students and then show your slides.

Maybe, you should be a good speaker so that to deserve attention? Dear friends, let's discuss. Share your ideas here.

You can download or see the presentation in page: http://uzteacher.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_844.html

With respect,
Nasim Sadikov

How about WebQuest? My recommendation.

Today I would like to present you one more unique Internet resource that is quite popular and can be very effective for teaching English.
Zunal.com is a webquest maker with 204.6 thousand users. Zunal is an easy to use web tool and you don't need to know any HTML codes to create project here.

Ok, how it can be used for teaching English? This is a typical question that can ask teachers who don't know how to use this website.

WebQuest helps students develop problem - solving and decision-making skills. WebQuests are interesting and motivating to teachers and students. It develops critical thinking skills and includes a cooperative learning component. Visiting the links the students start learning as they start searching for information.

Soon, I am going to start a WebQuest in www.zunal.com and of course, I will try to share my future goals with you.

Now, I am going to give a question.
Have you ever used WebQuest? If yes, please, share your experience with us.

Do you know about Delicious.com?

Now, I would like to share my opinions about delicious.com.

This website is usually used to create online bookmarks. We all use bookmarks in our web browsers, and they are very useful. But delicious.com is more effective and useful. Because, there going to be moments when you are using not your own PC and there is a very interesting website/page which you would like to save and you don't know what to do. If you know how to use delicious you can easily login and save that website/link.

This site is easy to use and has classic design that is not boring, on the contrary, everything is made accurately.

Just a week ago I experienced delicious. In nearest Internet cafe I found by chance a very interesting page with wonderful article and bookmarked it via delicioius.com.

If you don't know about online bookmarking and feeling yourself like an ignoramus then,
let's see "how to use" instructions in this link: http://pages.uoregon.edu/dhealey/techtips/sept2009.html.

Bing vs. Google: Which Search Engine is Best?

Today I've found very interesting article and would like to share it with you.

You might have seen the commercials online or on TV: Bing has been waging a marketing war on Google, claiming that blind users prefer Bing's results over Google's by a 2-to-1 margin.
But has Microsoft's search engine really advanced enough to pose a credible threat to Google? While you can test the comparison on your own at BingitOn.com, I've identified strengths and weaknesses for both. Either engine may have an edge depending on your personal preferences.

From social integration to speed to quality, here's a look at how they stack up:
Google advantage: Provides more relevant information.
While Bing's recent changes make it a more viable search option, it's still lacking in terms of result quality in response to informative queries.

In this case, I tested the phrase, "income tax rates." While the Google search engine results page (SERP) displayed information on both 2012 and 2013 tax rates in the first five listings, the only dated information found in Bing's results was a single listing mentioning 2011 tax rates.
